The devil could not stop him, the cross could not defeat him, the grave could not hold him.
The Holy Spirit is the “first installment” of our salvation. He is God’s “deposit” in our lives, guaranteeing that God will one day finish what he has started.
How do you become lukewarm? Just do nothing, and that’s what you will become.
God has more grace in his heart than you have sin in your life. Jesus is a better Savior than you are a sinner.
Knowledge alone will not save us and knowledge alone will certainly not change us. You’ve got to do something with the
knowledge you have.
You’ve got a Nineveh in your life right now. Your Nineveh might be someone you love whose behavior has provoked you to the point of anger and bitterness. Nineveh ultimately stands for any part of the will of God that you are afraid to face.
